Since the hubby was playing guitars at the senior center today, I took the camera for a walk along McDonald Creek in Glacier National Park. Was a beautiful day for a hike and warm enough to be able to play with the camera.
The picture of the house along the creek was just ordered by our courts to be torn down...the owners from California built the home on their personal property within the boundary's of Glacier Park however, they built it without the proper permits and the beams for the deck are to close to the high water mark for the creek....BIG no no on that one! It's going to be interesting to follow this story.

Home needs to be torn down, to close to the creek and built without the proper permits!

Your pictures are really beautiful, Cindy. Shame about that house. It is close to the creek.

Thanks!! I don't feel sorry for them at all....they knew they needed permits to build and they know where the high water mark is...they where just hoping to not get caught. It really is a shame because most people that still own property within the park boundaries are very respectful of the land...these people are not.
The first two are timeless. I'm fairly indifferent where long exposure river shots are concerned.
Cindy,
Beautiful images, thanks for sharing your part of the world...

All good, #2 is my favorite. I can’t imagine being dumb enough to take the risk of building a cabin like that without the proper permits. Very expensive screwup.
You have a good eye.Nice series.😃
