Skiumah Lake Trail

Looked like it was going to be a nice sunny day and the temps were supposed to be near 40, so headed out for a hike. We had never been on this trail, so decided to check it out. It's a nice steep 4 mile round trip to the lake and you gain over 1100 feet by the time you get to the lake...so yep...it's steep!
Lot's of snow and just kept getting deeper the higher we went. By the time we got to the lake the clouds had rolled in and the snow started...oh well..it was still pretty up there!

Wow, beautifully composed set, Cindy. Especially love the final image with the stark foreground elements and super dramatic sky. Beautifully done.
