I have photographed this old tree in Funks Grove, IL for years. Watched it as the years passed and it broke apart, then the burning of the field brought down the remaining trunk. Leaving what seemed to me as an alien being rising from the ashes.

Taken with the R10.

Yep! That's all the proof I need. This is obviously the remains of an alien killed in an alien battle on earth.

Is Funks Grove near Grayslake ? it seems like a place I saw while working up there in 2008.

Maybe it is just playing dead. They can do that for years. You never know when they will awaken and want
breakfast. They love Jerryio's.

Not that I am aware. Funks Grove is about 8 miles south of Bloomington, IL right off of old HY 66.
