A recent trip up the canyon found a few birds feasting on goodies provided by the gift shop. This site gets a lot visits by bird watchers and photographers for obvious reasons. The Mexican Jaybirds and the Acorn Woodpeckers were plentiful. The small birds (not sure) are a variety of finches.

Good selection. Madera is an interesting area. The last time I visited it was in the late 60's.
