Is you array on the ground?

Most of it. 24 panels are part of a ground mounted array, and 10 are mounted on extended sopport beams of my deck. All have unobstructed views to the south and are angled at about 45 degrees.

The reason I asked in NJ they are on the roofs and I wouldn't go up there to clear snow. Most home lots here wouldn't be big enough for ground placement

It is really a strange phenomena that the first panels that were installed always clear themselves within 24 hour, the the last twelve do not. I've talked to the installers and they do not know why this is the case except that they are manufactured by a different company. with the last 12 I usually go out and just expose the black and the heat generated takes care of the rest.

I saw several of this type of solar panel installation while driving in Arizona. They were all in a business or commercial parking setting. Would a residential two car covered park provide enough power to justify the investment?

Stan

A two car garage might suffice for a water heater or a ht tub, but in most communities in AZ you’re pretty much limited to your roof tops by your Homeowner’s Associations and CCR’s.
