This past Saturday was a little wet and gloomy so I headed about 110 miles west to this old schoolhouse. I shot it a few years ago and wasn't sure it was still standing. The mood was perfect although it was at sunset ( behind the clouds ) so a little darker than I'd like. A few of these are from a drone and should be obvious. The rest are from my regular camera. This is in Elmira, Illinois. Ten or eleven houses, an old church and a cemetery, and, of course, this old schoolhouse. Built in 1902, closed in 1952, storage for a few years and eventually abandoned completely around 1960. I think all I needed were a few ghosts lurking in the rafters.
