Photos from Antarctica Trip...

Wow....lots of work, but you can sort of relive your trip during the process! I'm not familiar with the Enhance feature in Lightroom. I need to learn more about it. I think some of my bird photos that needed to be heavily cropped might benefit from it. Thank you!
Patty, thank you for the very kind comments. I appreciate your taking the time to write. As for "Enhance," I've used it some with mixed results, but it's always worth trying. It only been available in recent updates of Lightroom Classic and I think Photoshop. It basically doubles the pixel count of the photograph. I can't tell if in doubling a white pixel surrounded by gray pixels it merely makes a 1 x 1 pixel into a 4 x 4 white block of pixels or if it tries to mix the white and gray in the new pixels. I've found that it may help a little with fixing noise in a photo...but not a lot. Many of my bird photos are small birds photographed from a distance, often in shady environments, so noise can be a bit problem. What I really find useful for my slideshow, however, is taking a significantly cropped image that shows up as a really small "slide" and quickly enlarging the slide image. You can try using Lightroom's Sharpen and Noise tools, but they only help so much. Same with the Topaz Denoise AI and Sharpen AI applications. Still it's worth giving it a try. Good luck.
Thanks very much, ORpilot. Hope you have a wonderful week. jak
