Wrong, another false platitude.
Money, however, does buy increased or advanced camera capabilities which in the right hands can produce superior photos that exceed your 5MP P&S. How large a picture can you realistically print with that camera, for example?
Also, think about BIF, sports and low light situations etc. Photos from advanced cameras can be dramatically different and better than an entry level.
