I like the show, but my brother wouldn’t have. He called shows like these “defective detective” shows.

The dog doesn’t play a big enough part to even consider. It only shows up once or twice per show and even then is insignificant. It’s just there.

Wife and I kinda stumbled on this a few weeks ago and love it. In response to cahale, the chihuahua does not "yap" much and is seldom seen really. She does add a little humor to the show but it is mainly a detective show that has some interesting twists and false leads to make it interesting. The characters are believable and well cast.
