Does this circular group of stars have a name?

Every time I take a Milky Way picture, I notice a nearly perfect circular group of stars in the image. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this and whether this group has a name? It's the circular group you see just inside the red circle I've added. Just curious.

If it does I’m not aware.
I shoot the milky way as often as Michigan skies and my gumtion allow and I have never noticed this phenomenon.
I’ll have to go back and check.
Your picture is beautiful.

Thanks. Once I noticed that circle on one of my images I could not unsee it in all my other MW images. Just wondered if it had a name or just some coincidental group of stars that doesn't have a specific name.

It has no specific title that I know of.
But it consists of several large stars, Galaxy's, or objects.
In a circular rotation,
Whirpool Galaxy, Mizar, Alioth, Megrez, Vacuum Cleaner Galaxy, The Box Galaxy, M106, Croc's Eye Galaxy, and Sunflower Galaxy.
The Pinwheel Galaxy is the most prominent nearest large object to the smaller ones.

If you go to Stellarium 1.2 and install it or use the online version, find the Pinwheel Galaxy and look in that area.
Also, it is inside a triangle of The Pinwheel Galaxy, M3, and Dubhe.

Hope that helps.

You're Welcome!

I just search around in Stellarium until I saw what appeared to be your anomaly.

Your beautiful picture made it easier for me.
