I really wanted a good photo of a Striped Mongoose. They were always so fast and would disappear into their dens or run off into taller grass.

Mom and young one. The very young zebra are light brown, as they get older they get darker and darker until they are black and white!

Wow !!! Those are all awesome shots. The Mongoose (how did they ever get that name) are great shots of an animal I rarely see posted. The last one look as if he is ready to take on the Buffalo herd -- a great shot. Zebra shots are sharp and beautiful. The easy winner for me is the Oxpecker frontal through the curl of a buffalo horn. What a great, unusual capture.
