Done March 1 from about 1/2 way up the NE slope of the Santa Ana Mountains near the western limits of Corona, where I live. The actual site is a turn around in front of the entrance gate to the "Lennar at Sierra Bella" gated community. Hint, they are not small or even medium-sized houses. God and the sales agents know how much this view adds to the price.
I took my new Canon RP mirrorless and two RF lenses, I just got to try them and get the snow at the same time.
#1 A 7 shot panorama done with the Canon RF 24-105L f/4 @ 105 Excuse the poor cloning of clouds on the right, but due to glare I couldn't really see to space and line up the individual shots and that one was too low so after merging there was a big blank space there. I tried to fake it.
#2 A 4 shot panorama done with the Samyang 14 mm f/2.8. This one I had to clone out a caution sign between two of the trees along the road on the left. I was in a beam of sunlight and made a bright yellow spot against the dark green vegetation.

Very nice 👌 numerous 1 is my favorite.
I like both of them. I lived in LA for several years when I was a kid. (Santa Ana). The San Gabriel mountains were my refuge from suburbia!
You've got a great view! I like #1 the best but they're both great!
Beautiful, Bob! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, I had a home in Azusa for 20 years before relocating to Corona and I used to go up the San Gabriel River Canyon just to unwind or to take pictures. A lot of those trips were on my motorcycle, which had a stereo. There was a little spring that came out in a small area on the inside of a hairpin turn with a couple of trees and room for my bike. I would pull in, enjoy the view and listen to classical music. Now, a guy on a Kawasaki Spectre with full touring gear and wearing an army field jacket and combat boots while blasting Mozart on the stereo used to get me some looks on the LA area freeways & streets.

Thank you very much. I discovered the spot I took them from a few years back when they hadn't even paved the road yet as they started to build the first houses there. It is only about 10 minutes up slope from my house.
