Sounds like you appreciate good music. If you hadn’t heard of her before, check on YouTube. She had an amazing ability to transform music from other artists to her own style. I.e. Fields of Gold (Sting), A Beautiful World (Satchmo). A virtual unknown; she died of cancer in her early thirties.

Thanks Mark. I try not to put limitations on good music by saying I prefer one artist over another. I figure if I do that I am just cheating myself. You note I did say good music and not the crap.
