Yep, that's all you will see! When I went to Oregon after spending the winter in Florida, I was sure they were the same species. Not so much!

In-Body Image Stabilization is a system that reduces "camera shake." It is increasingly more popular than in-lens stabilization schemes (IS, OIS, VR, VC, etc.), because if it is in the camera body, it works with all your lenses. Some manufacturers have "Dual IS" or something similar, that combines in-lens and in-body stabilization schemes.
The net result is that you can photograph at slower shutter speeds without worrying about CAMERA motion blur. Of course it does nothing for SUBJECT motion blur, which is controlled by shutter speed or flash speed.
