Yep. That's what we have been calling a rave in the swamp! For some reason unknown to me, there is an unusual gathering of Gators at Lake Apopka here in Florida every now and then. It's accompanied by a lot of swamp birds. Mostly Great Egrets and some Snowy Egrets. All in a heightened level of activity. The Gators especially are lunging at each other and the birds and generally acting crazy!
If you take a look at some of my earlier posts in 2022 you will see what I mean. Search "The rave in the swamp" and something should come up!
