Early morning there are usually no Gators!
Just stepped out of the truck for a quick stop but had the camera in hand as always while in the swamp!
About fifteen feet!
I won't do that again!!

I carry a .357 Magnum in the truck...but can't carry that AND a camera!

I carry a .357 Magnum in the truck...but can't carry that AND a camera! I do, in a shoulder holster under my photography vest. Came in very handy 40yrs ago when 4 miscreants tried to rob me in a state park as I was alone photographing.

I have it in a holster under my seat. I've thought of carrying it on me but I'm not a Florida Resident. I will if they pass the "Constitutional Carry" law that DeSantis is pushing! I hope, I hope!!

You don't have to be a FL resident to get a FL ccw permit, and it's good in over 30 states!

If I wanted to go ccw, I would have to go with something smaller. Maybe my .45 1911 model. I'm hoping for open carry!
