Affinity V1 Work Book

V1 Work Book is a beautiful book, well presented and very useful - but if I upgraded to V2 would it not be relevant any longer? For instance, Layers section?
By buying the book in the first place my V1 outlay doubled - too much to just abandon, methinks.
It would be fair to offer V1 users a big discount to upgrade to V2 - app and books!

As mentioned in a previous post look up Robin Whalley for his AFFINITY V2 guides. V1 guides available.

Version 1 book, not the software.

Try googling "Serif Photo Workbook" CARE - there is a V1 and a V2. There are used copies available at good price.

I have a question, as a very happy Affinity Photo user. Are there features in the Affinity 2, that make it a meaningful upgrade for the Affinity Photo user?

I am in the same position as you. Very few app providers actually advise what the differences are, or why they have a new (often expensive) version rather than the promised lifetime "free" upgrade.

I don’t feel like there were any significant new features in v2 so your old v1 workbook should work fine.

As an early adopter of Affinity Photo 1 they offered the book as a bonus add-on. A great reference and very nicely done.

I bought mine from affinity. I would imagine they still have some. It's a nice book but it really didn't teach me to much. I do think if you are not familiar with layers ect it is worth the money.
