Sights of St. Augustine
St. Augustine, FL is the oldest city in the United States. It has an incredible history from the 16th, 17th, 18th & 19th centuries. Spent my 80th birthday week there as a vacation given to me by my significant other. I didn't feel like lugging my D850 or my D5500 and the lenses, etc. I chose to travel light, and use my Nikon Coolpix P7000, which has virtually the same controls/options as my DSLRs, and exceptional image quality. I refuse to use the digital telephoto. If I can't get it with the optical, then I have to move closer. This is the first set. I will be posting more as the days go by. I hope you enjoy them, and constructive criticism is welcome.

On the way back to fly home from KJAX, we stopped at the Jacksonville Zoo. Some good animals in good habitats. Some animals were not on display. I would like to get more time in Jacksonville. It probably has some good stuff to see.
Very nice series...thanks for sharing!!
I was there once a LONG tome ago--thanks for refreshing my memory with your nice photos.
