Sooo many different musicians that intertwine with other groups. Really can't keep up.
Look at Led Zeppelin and the old Yardbirds. Some info I'm just coming across about the songs of the Zepp.

I think you and Dipper are close. That would put them in with the CCR grouping- though without the boogie beat.
But after saying that............. Both with just a bit of country mixed in I believe.

Awesome. Band !! Seen them a few times never been disappointed Dixie chicken is a classic however after turning 65 Old Folks Boogie says it all
