Then what is it? I don't see it in the pictures. It's certainly not a G lens because it has an aperture ring like a D lens.

Isn't the D90 a DX camera? Is this lens for a full sensor camera like the D850? Was it usable on your camera?

Also, I'm having issues with Paypal. They seem to be set up to accept my paying with a credit card and advise against a bank account except with people I know well, like close friends or family.

If this is not the AF-S f/2.8G lens, then I'm afraid I'll have to back out of this. The photos you presented do not show the full writing on the barrel, but I'm pretty sure, this is not the lens I thought you were offering. If I'm wrong, please clarify; otherwise, you're free to place it back on the UHH Market place.

He says that it is an AF lens and you can see quite clearly from his photos that it is indeed an AF lens. AF lenses were prior to the D lenses. Same lens, but without distance reporting. You must have the screw drive in the camera for autofocus. His D90 would work great with this lens.
