From the archive. Shadyn died some years ago. I enjoyed working with her, she expressed a verity of talents, most of all projection and acting. She was much like a frat boy caught in a woman's body. As often was the case she would get bored and take the shoot other directions. Here she is being quite naughty, something she was delighted to do.
This is raw out of the camera with no editing, thus you see some prefrail parts that would normally be altered in post processing.

So she decided at 2 in the morning (she had decided to stay in the apartment, that stay lasted three years), when she came down stirs to the library where I was just finishing up and heading for bed when in she pops...
"I got this idea for a portrait, I did the make up and I found some things that you have hidden away so I could find them!"
I'm thinking, "Oh God, again." Why don't you get these urges during normal times?"
"Because I'm anything but 'normal', so get set up and we shoot!"
So I get everything ready, half asleep.
I do the first image Shadyn with finger a armor.
She chimps the camera, furious!
"What you don't like my boobs?"
"Know, you said a portrait, not a nude." was my mistaken notion.
"I'm Shadyn, I have gorgeous tits, why do you think I got no top on? Do it again!"
That is the second portrait.
The 'girls' were glorious, no arguing about that and Shadyn was a beauty.

great story and images. I usually like simple photos with a subject and npt much extra cltter, but the image at the top is marvelous!

George, it is obvious from this photo that Tim is a time traveler and went back to the 1950s to do a pinup photo shoot that were so beautifully suggestive. This is one that as a teen we would have all enjoyed pinned to our wall till our mom found it, trashed it, and admonished us.

I love working in the general style of the period just after WW II, and I love the Bettie Page era of girls doing photo club photography. One of my favorite models who does this style is Serena. In this image Serena was modeling for a group of photographers here in San Antonio. She was visiting my studio and I set up the shoot at another photographer's studio, it was never about making money, some girls just love being necked in front of a group of men. Serena is one and she is a doctor of all things.
She got super happy the day before when I gave her the necklace she is wearing. I joked with her by phone a few weeks past, about the necklace; she assured me she still has it and wears it often when going out. Girls are so easy! LOL!!!

Very nice. You put a lot of thought into this scene. Bravo. Oh, the model is nice too.
