Do any of you process images on a cell phone?
I got an email from Skylum about their new app to process on a phone. Naturally, there's an annual or lifetime charge. People here ask about the best monitor for processing, so I can't imagine them being satisfied with a 2" sceeen on a cell phone. The only thing I use for processing is a desktop. It's called Imgmi - clever name, a palindrome.

The only editing I do on my phone is occasionally rotating and/or cropping. Mostly when I'm taking a photo of a document, to delete the table surface in the background.
Real editing needs a screen large enough to see what you're doing.
Most of the photos I take with my iPhone 14 are at local events or a beach scene etc.
I do use the phones cropping tool, contrast and shadows features.
If I want to do more I’ll download it to my MacBook Pro and use Photoshop which I pay $10/mo. for.
I don’t think I would ever pay for an app for processing on my phone.
No, never. No desire to do so.
I wait 'tilll I get to my PC.
Snapseed is a great smartphone photo processor.
Yes when needed Jerry. I use Snapseed
It is free
"Snapseed is a photo-editing application for iOS and Android that enables users to enhance photos and apply digital filters. It was created by Nik Software, and is now owned by Google."
Snapseed is one of the many apps, and plugins, for cell phones. What amazes me is that the cost of photo apps is so low compared to those for windows and how amazingly versatile the phone apps are. I have not dug into the Why/How, only observed results amazing results generated by others.
Being an ol-fuddy-duddy, my camera is my camera and my phone is my phone... tho, I think/know the phone is very powerful in comparison to my computer. This separation of ability, photos or otherwise, will increase as AI and the new Tesla PiPhone, which are connected to Starlink, and the Tesla Gigacomputer, all in supportive harmony expand exponentially. Lookout future, here they come...
Perhaps my psychological hindering mistake can be glossed over by attaching a full keyboard and large monitor to my phone hiding the phone in an old computer case, then pretending that the case is filled with new and powerful computer components.
When away from my desktop my go to editing app on my IPhone is Snapseed. DistressedFX to add textures.

I send my phone images to my email account, put them on my desktop and then to photoshop where I process them and put them back on my desktop, from there they go onto a flash drive to be used in books I process at Shutterfly.

Seldom... Sometimes I shoot RAW with my phone and edit them in Snapseed.

I can understand and somewhat appreciate the ability to process photos on a cell phone. I am by no means a camera snob and believe that cameras are better than cell phones. In the same context, I don’t believe that a computer/laptop is better at processing images either. I am more inclined to believe what ever is handy!
A short while ago, my wife and I were cleaning out one of our closets. My wife found a few items to bring to goodwill. We also found a Netbook from 2010. Once charged and the password reset, we looked around. It is by no means fast or has great memory capacity or has a fantastic screen. But it works and I can move photos around. It will suit a purpose for the time being. It would probably cost $200 to strip and upgrade. It will cost about $400 to buy a new one.
I am not fond of the latest and greatest. I will work with what I have.
For What It’s Worth, I’m not a big photo processor. I don’t have any software for the task. My photos are Straight Out Of Camera style.

Sure, especially if I want to send it to someone immediately. I do not use any third-party apps, just the editor that Apple has built into its Photo app. It can do all the basic things such as crop, exposure, contrast, color saturation, etc. It is like having a scaled-down Adobe Camera Raw.
While we are traveling I can take an interesting photo and then within a couple of minutes, edit it, and send it to friends and family back home. You can send these to individuals or put together a group and send it to all at the same time. One of the big advantages of the cellphone cameras.

Rarely . . . and then only in an unusual situation when time is of the essence.
