Remember it? A friend has one of these in his bar. Going even further back in time places it in an old fashioned phone booth! He sold the booth many years ago and when the buyer passed on the widow delivered it back to the bar. Still sits unused in a corner. Younger folks have no idea what it is. Sad comment about the young, they think most things were invented just for them. "What do you mean iPhones are only 15 years old??? That's only 2 years older than ME!!!" Ahh, to be young and naive once more and live in the clouds.
I saw an old Phone-booth at Sandy Hook NRA (can't remember the last time before this I seen one) last year in a section generally closed off to the public. A piece of glass & the handset/reciever was missing. If I come across the handset I'll sneak in & replace it for yahoos!
