I have ten jokes here about Americans. Some of them are not so bad but some of them are very bad. I just don't know what to do with them. Wev'e laughed at the Irish, Scottish, Welsh and English, but the problem is, ugly hedgehog is in America and 99% are Americans and I just don't know whether you could take these jokes or not.
It's obvious that I don't make all these jokes up, I am just the messenger. I think I will try them out on my American friends by email and listen to what they say, or advise.

Go ahead. We aren't that thin-skinned. At least most of of us aren't.
Go ahead Graham. If some of my fellow Americans can't take a joke...%$&^%# em.

I don't know kpmac. Some complained about the Bangkok joke. for goodness sake!! saying it was raunchy.
It didn't sexually do anything for me except laugh.

Graham; I took the Siam capital joke as a good history/geography lesson with a slight dip into biology.... hee, hee, hee. As to jokes with Americans as the "punch line", as someone else said here: "%$&^%# em" if we can't have a good laugh at ourselves. Some people just don't get it....
You better post them after teasing us about them

Americans can get very disagreeable if they don't get a steady flow of jokes.

your goodself/.

Go right ahead. I have a sense of humor, I realize they are only jokes, everyone needs to chill and enjoy life insteat of everything is this or everything is that, life is too short not to have a sense of humor.

Auuuu, just print them. The ones that find them offensive, well, they just don't count. I feel that if you can't laugh at yourself, you have NO business laughing at others.

My son in my "first born American". And he does have a sense of humor. My daughter is my "second born American". And she has too a good sense of humor. On their mother's side, their lineage tracks back to the landing of the Mayflower. Still with a good sense of humor.
Those that are usually find jokes troublesome are those who think little of themselves. They are afraid of having the foibles they think they have being exposed. They don't know that laughter is a human ability to deal with any personal disability, real or not.
Please let us have them. We have plenty of reasons to laugh at ourselves.
Go for it! I’ll be looking forward to reading them. While the perceived humor in some jokes appears to lie in the real or imagined idiosyncrasies we ascribe to certain nationalities or ethnic groups, the real humor is in the reality of the situations.
American humor is replete with “lightbulb” jokes, as in “How many ________ does it take to change a lightbulb?” The blank is filled with the name of military branches, occupations, colleges, etc.. I doubt any of what you post will be offensive to more than a few.
