Ok, it is here again. Free Sunday is ready to receive any of your photos you been wanting to share but no challenge matched you subject matter. Yeah sure go ahead and post any left overs you didn’t get posted to any of the previous subject challenge. We’d all like to see them!
I’ll get it started with these just to get this going.
Okay... Must share. We are at the Playa Grande Resort in Cabo St. Lucas, Mexico. These were morning scenes from the pool restaurant and bar area.
This is a town for serious party goers. There are at least as many "pharmacies" as there are restaurants. We're traveling with a U.S. pharmacist friend who is aghast at the fact you can walk into one of the "pharmacies" and get almost whatever you want. Whatever... If you are (still) party animals you'll love it. If you aren't, well, maybe you should be.
The resort is incredibly beautiful, as is the town. We took a dinner cruise around the harbor tonight. It was both cheap and excellent. Open bar, GREAT Mexican food, and an incredible sunset view of the landscapes. About $100/person plus tips. We found it through Get Your Guide, a travel experience site we have used several times before. They've always delivered a fun time.
Lynda and I both put this place on our bucket list of places to return to, and we've only been here about 27 hours. Tomorrow, we go whale watching.
More images to come...

We don't have a lot of snow in the Seattle area or western WA but it shows up occasionally. Now, the mountains and eastern WA are a different story.
Brother in law lives across the Sound in Bremerton. We have a little familiarity with the area from their reports. Visited once and drove across the replacement bridge for the “Galloping Gurdy”. The original bridge collapsed under high a wind conditions.

We used to go to Mexico annually - Mazatlan area. Loved it. Made native friends there. Miss it but when it became the drug cartel capital, we weren't comfortable returning. Thanks for the memories.
