Our back yard neighbor thought we ought to replace the cedar fence between us so I participated with him. The only problem was those beautiful trumpet vines that put a flush of color along our back property line were cut back to remove the old fence.

I've never had trumpet vines but, in my experience, if they come back like you've shown, they'll be fantastic shortly.
