Your photos appear simplistic and easy, the truth is that eggshells are a challenge. The Tampabay Camera Club assignment was White-on-White Eggs. It sounds easy but is not.

I like the second photo best, in one view it is a well-executed study/challenge of black-on-black. The yellow of the yoke is a bit dissonant, but that is fine and adds to the photo a sharp contrast to the black/white theme.

A suggestion for a retake: Having only half of the eggshell would puzzle people... the eye/mind would expect the second half of the shell and thus would be disturbed wondering what happened to it... where is it... why is it not there? Evoking emotion makes for a photo with high impact. The second photo is "pleasant" because all the egg parts expected are there.
