Hobby Club’s Missing Balloon Feared Shot Down By USAF

So... the 3 most recently shot down UFOs seem to match the description of hobby balloons which are missing in action.
One would think that we could distinguish small hobby balloons from aircraft that pose some risk. They did, however, provide targets against which we were able to demonstrate our military strength.
It is noteworthy that the hobby balloons generally cost $12-$180 each, compared to the AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles which run about $439K each (one of which missed its target, so 5 missiles used on 4 flying objects).
