Regardless, phone shot of our niece and first child a month ago. Little miss Everly Jean is such a doll.
Beautiful shot - Belongs on your wall with the rest of them
Nothing better than having babies sleeping on your chest or lap.
Before my youngest daughter was old enough to walk, I’d put her on my shoulders and go move livestock or check fences. She’d use my ears as handholds, which I admit got uncomfortable at times. As a result her and I have always been really close, which I attribute to spending time with her when she was little. After my divorce she lived with me most of the time from 9 to 18 years old. Never any typical teenage problems, she liked riding on the motorcycle with me and her and her siblings enjoyed going on vacation with the old man.
I consider myself a very fortunate man to have the kids I do, be they biological, step kids or simply a young girl with alcoholic abusive parents. Kids don’t need electronic gadgets, every extracurricular activity under the sun or designer clothes. They do need adults or parents who will spend time with them, actually talk with them, listen to what they have to say and not make any distinction based upon gender or blood relationships. And young kids love learning new things, whether it’s driving a tractor, running a sawmill, welding or building things. I’m very lucky to have six young people call me dad.
WONDERFUL Shot
It answers the question --
Why do we have children?

Nice shot! Maybe get one with Mom’s face included?

This is a lovely photograph. I like it a lot. Mom and daughter are just beautiful. Both will enjoy this small slice of life in years to come.

A friend sent me this. How true!
Beautiful! Simply Beautiful. Those days are past for me. Maybe great grandchildren???
A great shot of your baby daughter.
"Will' probably' end up in her senior-year book, someday."

Here, although I prefer the former due to its business in this one.
