Went after some galaxies last night...
Configuration: a Sony A7R V with a David Levy Comet Hunter scope (730mm FL) on an iOptron CEM26 (EQ) mount, unguided.
Sessions: All shot with 30sec subs @ ISO3200.
I doubled the number of subs on the M87 & Friends image to see if it made a difference; it did. The group of galaxies across the top of the M87 image is a portion of Markarian's Chain (of galaxies). How many galaxies do you count in this image?
I am amazed at the detail one can pull from the heavens with a 60 MP camera!!
