Neighbor has allowed some hives on their property...so after they pushed the Hummingbirds off their feeders...I made some adjustments. Changed feeders and created two distinct feeding areas within an acre of each other...peace at last.
so...I decided to sit and snap a few of them as long as they are around...they'll be moving on at some point...after the Palmetto flowering is over with.
Enjoy a few...on me. They were all over me as well...it got ridiculous a few times...but no worries. I wear them well.

Thanks all...I will say...the buzzing can become uncomfortable...you have to check the little voice in your head now and again asking...am I a moron for doing this?

But they behave ...sort of...just energetic...and rambling...through my hair...beard...moustache (always a pleaser).
One felt as if it was inspecting my nostril...that one made me a bit giddy...not a problem I want to have.
But in the end...you can sit there with hundreds on you...they don't care if you don't.

Thanks everyone...making sugar water right now lol. Bass turds can rip through the stuff.
Wife and I were laughing at how we underestimated how many bees are in those hives...holy smokes.
They are pigs too...total pigs.
One was absolutely covered and stuck a bit in the deeper area of sugar water.
No problem...another one grabbed him from behind and towed him out of there...then 3 or 5 bees covered him...enormous buzzing...a bit later...bee has been licked clean...sparkling clean.
I think their tongues are huge compared to the body size.
Like a pack of Great Danes licking you is what it must be like...maybe worse.
