There are a good number of beautiful lakes in northern Italy. Lake Como is the most well-known, in the USA, at least. But others are also beautiful destinations. Lago di Garda is a frequent destination of my wife and me because it is so beautiful and we have friends in the region. The lake is about 60-mile from top to bottom and it's ringed by wonderful villages and scenery. Take a look at some photos that show some of it, I hope.

One of my favored places. A friend of my brother owns a house just up the hill from Riva del Garuda. I have spent many beautiful days there. Thanks for posting

Nice set. In September my wife and I are flying to Milan airport , renting a car and going to explore the lakes in the region. We will be there for about 5 weeks. We are still putting together the itinerary. Thanks for showing us the area.
