You can still use them under 7, but there will be no more updates for Win 7 boxes.
I don't think there is very many of us Windows 7 users left. Just like my friends, they just keep falling away.

I've no idea how many 7 boxes remain in the world, don't really care,
but I have one box still running 7, so I thought I'd let anyone else running 7 know, if they didn't know by now.
Yup, when the 7 box dies, or gets really sick, I'll replace it.
Until then......

Here is something I found odd. I have one Windows 7 machine that rarely gets used, but I can't say never. MS installed Edge on it long after Win 7 support ended. Go figure.

Yea. I was even getting OS updates for 7 after support ended also.
The Edge support cessation is within the past week or two. I did have an Edge update on the 7 box a little while ago.
I don't have anything running 7 or 8. In fact I never used 8. I have a few boxes running XP and some even run DOS.

Yea, my 12 year old laptop went from 7 to 11 on the new one.
We've no room to keep prior computers active/available.
I'm still using my old refurbished 7 Pro. that was less than $200.00. When it kicks the bucket I'll get a new one, but not until then.

You seem to still get Firefox updates.
I think windows 11 is the latest but it requires a very powerful computer and also seems directed toward games

Yes, so far so good!
(Been using Firefox basically exclusively since it started as
Netscape in 1994.)
Still running 7 and wont change

11 is nice though. However, File Explorer presents the folders (on the left) WAY differently.
Too many replications for me.
I have two machines still running Windows 7, but neither of them has been connected to the internet for years now. As stand alone machines they work just fine and for internet access I also have a Chromebook that does everything I need it to do as far as the internet is concerned.
