I ran across this fellow the other day while taking the long way to Menard’s.
It’a an end-drive barn (the entery is on the other end) with asymmetrical sheds. I can only assume that the road is the reason for the shortened shed on the left.
Good work and I am learning about barns, John!
Beauty John Matthew, it's great to know that country and structures like that still exist.
My desert is slowly disappearing under tract housing occupied by people who are fleeing California, Michigan, etc. The first thing they do is build a massive house to be occupied by two people in the middle of virgin desert, followed by 10 or 15 more idiots. Then they call themselves a "community" and DEMAND Pima County pave the road to their houses, and install sidewalks and street lights

I find it interesting that you can have 40 acres of desert or scrub brush where wildfires occur naturally every so often. And when it does, the national media never mentions it because well, that’s just what it does. Then someone “develops” it by building 100 houses on it. And when that area burns again just like it has countless times before, now the media goes on and on about the disaster and how climate change-global warming is to blame.
Disasters only occur when someone’s house goes up in flames, slides down a mountainside or is demolished then a hurricane obliterates it from the beach. When people build houses in wooded areas that have burned before but zoning forbids them from using fire resistant steel roofing and siding, why be surprised when it burns down? When you build houses on steep slopes where landslides naturally occur, or on known fault lines, why be surprised when your house slides away or collapses during an earthquake? And when you build your house right on a Gulf Coast beach where multiple hurricanes occur somewhere every year, why be surprised when your number is up and one hits you dead on?
On the Missouri River floodplain near St. Charles, MO, I remember when the area was a river bottom crop field. Then several large businesses were built there and a few years back the river got up and flooded the area. The news reported on the “disaster“. Funny, when it was a crop field and flooded, it wasn’t a disaster, it was a natural occurrence and never made the news. When some idiots build on it and get flooded it’s a whole different story. Why are those areas called floodplains? Because they FLOOD!!!
Far too many natural disasters are actually man made disasters.

Thanks, Jack!
Unfortunately, that is happening around here, too. That and wind farms wanting to take our farmland.
