SpaceX and the rising moon

A 3 second exposure of the SpaceX launch near the rising moon on February 6 at 8:34pm looking ENE from where I live. I used a 300mm lens and needed to use my 500mm. Next time.

I personally think a 500mm would have spoilt the effect with the SpaceX trail being clipped or at least too close to the edge.

Watched the Falcon 9 takeoff on TV even though could have watch it outside my son's house in Rockledge Florida. Too lazy to have gotten my gear out at the last minute. I like day shots better where you can see the rocket not just the flames from the tail. Have previously posted some day shots.

From the west coast of Florida at 140 miles west, it has to be night launches for a decent photo.

I believe it was ISO 400, f-11, 3 sec on tripod with remote shutter
