Female Belted Kingfisher. Sony a1, Sony 600 f4 @ f4, 1/4000 sec. iso 320, manual exposure, hand held.
This Kingfisher was very close to the background so in photoshop I selected just the Kingfisher, then selected INVERSE which picked everything but the bird, then went to filter and chose blur, camera blur, and with a slider blurred out the background until the Kingfisher stood out from it.

That’s an excellent shot of a difficult bird to photograph. Can I assume you know this to be a female because it’s difficult to tell from this angle.

Very nice capture, and god processing. These guys are hard to get, and you got her in flight.
