While the eagle's lounging and dining areas were still sunny, the hunting ground was not as the sun was setting, adding to the photo-op challenge.

Exquisite BIFs,
I was going to ask what body of water (since my daughter's house is on Loch Cove Lake). But then I saw "Jordan Dam", so I guess that means I won't be seeing one off her back deck my next visit.
Honestly I don't see how these photos could be improved in any way.

Thank you very much, Fred, for your very positive feedback. In central NC, we are blessed to be near a eagle-hangout like Jordan dam. I am also very appreciative of all the folks on UHH who share their knowledge and wisdom freely, allowing hobbyist amateurs like myself to improve their photography skills.
