A little Bald Eagle action

This eagle has been spending winters at our city park/lake since 2016 as far as records indicate. She is a survivor from what may have been a gunshot wound as a portion of her beak is missing exposing her nostrils to the open air. She, as well as other eagles, have been feasting on dead geese and ducks whose demise is caused by an avian flu outbreak. We all hope that all these raptors will survive this outbreak and provide further years of eagle watching so close to town!

Marvelous scenes...our area has lost a lot of owls to avian flu so hoping the best for your eagles!!
