Subject: ANAMORPHOSIS - Leonardo da Vinci
It's based on a drawing which does not look like anything is made on a saucer, then a cup in chromed decoration is put on it, and there, like magic, we see a form appearing! One of the cups is even faceted which gives an impression of movement when it is turned on the saucer!
Leonardo da Vinci is credited with the invention of anamorphosis and congratulations to the decorators who made the drawings.

Thanks! I would never have the patience to do something like that. If I made a cup, and it didn't leak, that would be considered a success.
This reminds me of those old paintings that look like nothing until you tilt them at an extreme angle. I couldn't find them just now.
