The Starlings are back with the recent warmer weather in Kansas.
The recent sub-freezing temperatures in Wichita, Kansas had the Starlings nowhere to be found visiting my backyard, suet in a cage, bird feeders. I set up my Sony RX-10M4 at F2.8 to get a blurred background and sharp subject. My shutter speed was set at 1/2000 of a second to stop action-blurring when they come in for a landing. My ISO was set on auto to get a more perfect exposure than I can pick at age eighty-one with questionable eye sight. I zoomed in leaving enough space around my subject to crop as desired. After seeing the expression on the Starlings face, I decided to add text to expose what I thought the Starling was feeling. Hope you enjoy my image. Shooter41
They are back at my feeders also. They hit about 50 at a time and eat tremendous amout of food. I figure they are hungry too
