Still with the hummers

I was setting the X-T3 with 35mm lens up on the tripod, in the garden. Checking distance, where I could sit with the remote trigger in my hand, evf and lcd off, mechanical shutter selected, etc. I did not have a chance to complete my setup and go get a cuppa, was just adjusting the framing, and this Costas are along. I got about 1/2 dozen shots before it flew away. At a distance of 16”, I found that f5.6 still gave a pretty narrow DoF and some of the shots were blurry (focused on the flower). This is the uncropped version. I am not done yet…

Nice. Viewing on a phone or monitor, or just hitting the remote when they are in position?

Nice capture. A little crop will do wonders.
