The cement pond in the park where my wife and I go for our walk froze over the last couple days except for a hole where a pipe aerates the water. Today it rose a few degrees above freezing and the ice started to melt in the sun. I was amused to see the ducks standing on the submerged ice shelf around the open hole so I grabbed a snap. -- Canon G7
