I didn’t think the I Phone could take an Aurora photo. When I touched the shutter button, with no other input from me, it took a 30 second exposure, taken at the beach in Norway. It’s a 14 Pro.
(Didn't one of the Iphones actually have an aurora setting?)

This one had a night mode that kicks in automatically.
Very nice. I’ve taken several shots of the auroras (we call them “the lights” up here) with my iPhone 13 Pro Max, and they turned out well. Keep shooting “the lights.”

Thanks, Greg.
Not meaning to hijack your thread, but here’s an example from my iPhone 13 Pro Max, right from our front porch. Handheld, not a long exposure. So you know your phone can to this quite well.

Wow, Joe! Good move.
Thanks very much, Mike. The I Phone is now my backup camera when I travel.
Amazing what the new Smartphones can do!
Wow...terrific capture, Joe...cell phones are handy to have along as this photo shows!!

Beautiful! If you have the opportunity, try VIDEOING it on a cell! I saw a lady from China do so in Coldfoot, AK, February, 2017, a short 10 second shot, and it was SPECTACULAR! I was also outside shooting single shots at the time, and wished I had switched to video mode!!! It 'DANCED' (!) for about 10 minutes straight!
