These images came from a converted Olympus E-500 installed with a 590nm filter. While only a 7mp output, the results are still quite satisfactory IMHO. I hope to see many more IR images posted under this new section and to be further inspired by others efforts.

Intriguing. Every so often I think about having my otherwise-unused Nikon D60 converted. Your postings may give me the push I need. Thanks for posting.

A great selection.
I've found the 590nm to be my favorite filter as it's so flexible, and you've introduced me to yet another look it can give.
Your first is quite unlike anything I've done with it. Your second is more familiar yet still distinctly different from the look I get.
I usually use a longer filter if intending to shoot monochrome, but it certainly manages well there too.
