I am really sorry for your loss, I know how that feels. I once returned from vacation to find a crashed hard drive. Great pictures by the way.
Thanks. I guess there's no absolute insurance against loss. I was just thinking that if I had had my laptop along, I could have downloaded them.
Many thanks, Cathy for the service you provide to those less fortunate and needy individuals.
Enjoyed your photos and hope your recovery continues successfully!!
Great shots and thank you for the Lords service.
Any chance of recovering your photos…. Bad disk?
Very interesting commentary and photos. At 13,000 feet did any of you non-natives need oxygen ?? I was close to that need in Cusco, Peru @ 11,000 ft with trips to 12,800 ft level.
Great series, Kathy, and thank you for your work.

Some of you have seen my post about losing 1/2 of my pictures on my recent trip. That was really hard to take. I'm still working on it. But I'd like to share some of my pictures with you.
We were in the Andes mountains of Ecuador doing medical missions. Each day we'd go to a different village, set up shop and see and treat everyone who came. Most days we treated about 250 people (which is, in some cases, the entire village). The scenery is beautiful. The people are gracious. The climate was yucky - cold and WET!

Thank you for your service among the Quichua in Ecuador. A needy country and people group. I have been there many times and know the needs both medically and spiritually. Your pictures are great! You did well at showing what the country and mountains are like in Ecuador. Brings back many memories for me and I'm sorry you lost some of your pictures, but give it time and maybe you'll be able to retrieve them somehow.

Thanks, Jim. It is so wonderful doing God's work and having such fun at the same time! I've tried the SanDisk recovery program, and it did recover some, but not the ones I'm looking for. All the other programs want me to pay for them BEFORE knowing if they got what I want. I'm to the point of looking for a person to do it for me. I used to have luck with a guy recovering bad hard drives. Will recovering photos be any different?
