Birding at 8 degrees F.
Yesterday was the first sunny day that we have had in weeks. I went to Farmington Bay Wildfowl Management Area in Davis County, Utah. The marshes are adjacent to the Great Salt Lake just above Salt Lake City.
It may have been sunny, but it was 8 degrees F. The usual transient birds had not decided to stay. I took some landscape shots and was on my way out of the area when I saw something in the trees. The big guy was willing to pose once he decided that my stop was not a problem.
Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks, Barbara, the eagle salvaged the birding part of the day.
I appreciate all those thumbs up.
Love the eagle shots, Mike.

Thanks, Elliott, I hoped for more. Usually this time of year we have a large group passing through.
Great shots and sequence, Mike

Thanks, Joe, I expected more this time of year.
A fine set, Mike. You never know what you will see on an outing. 8 degrees is too cold for this old Cajun, though.
Great shots Mike! Have you warmed up yet?
