FedX. Figure this out

I have a new monitor coming from B&H due to arrive yesterday. Note says I may have to sign for the package
Carrier: FedX, usually arrives a bit after 3:00PM never knocks on the door, sometimes puts the package in an Old GE Fridge I have on the front porch for that purpose .No reason to tempt Porch Pirates. :sm08
Yesterday I stayed home from 2:30 pm on. With a sign on the door KNOCK HARD I AM HOME!! not a sound, about 5:00 pm or so I looked in the fridge and found a small box with my Clartin (always delivered by guess who). but no monitor.
Checked tracking : Out for delivery 7:30 am Wonder what happened?
Too early to see if it's out for delivery this morning.

Frank this seems to be the new customer service... very sad. I know how frustrating it is. Hang in there. Hopefully it will arrive today... keeping finger crossed 🤞

Nobody rings the door bell anymore. I've also had packages left on the porch - where anyone can take them - that are supposed to require a signature but were just left. Sad customer service....

At this point I am still chuckling about it! But that is subject to change at any moment

Amazon don't deliver out here they pass it off to UPS and my UPS driver is fantastic!!! He even takes time to pat Murphy on the head.

No door bell here,
And I don't have Alexa, Lousy cell service out here these days so it wouldn't do any good , besides I always stay home when I have something coming.
I have Murphy and I can hear him all over the house even with the TV on!!

I don't like bell ringing if he's just leaving the package. I can usually hear the truck, and the dog barks. Otherwise, email tells me that it was delivered.

I thought this was sort of funny, well, comical. UPS left a tall package leaning up against the front door. There was no way to open the door without causing the package to move. Luckily, I was able to reach around and grab the it before it fell. I could have gone out through another door, but I took a chance.
