1. I didn't know that spot on dogs had a name.
2. I can see this happening to me if I skip a day ordering from Amazon.
3. The uninsured. Are we learning from the animals, or are they learning from us?
4. That ghost should have known better.

Funny Jerry. What did we do before Amazon? Great selection. Almost immediate delivery (occasionally same day or next day). Don't have to travel to a store, hassle with parking... Easy returns. No complaints from me!

We drove from store to store trying to find what we wanted. Naturally, parking was always a problem. Now, I get annoyed when delivery takes more than three days. That's been happening with everything from Amazon for about a month. No more fast deliveries. Still, it beats driving into town.

When I got home a little after noon today, I had five items from Amazon, one from CT, and one from HI. It's funny how things ordered on different days arrive at the same time - UPS and PO.

Jerry, I'm under the impression that you live in the boonies. If so, do you think it's possible that Amazon waits until they have a few parcels for you before they make a delivery? As I said earlier we sometimes get same day delivery, next day and usually within a few days, but we live in a very populous area.

I have the same thing Jerry, I can go 3-4days with no mail then 'boom, My box is filled up!! Now that is not Amazon. it must be the USPS saving gas! In 1850 the Pony Express could take a USPS letter from St. Louis to Sacramento in 3 days, and it still does!!

It's worse than that! Where I live, it's not possible to get to Cheshire, CT.

I used to get next day or two-day delivery from Amazon, but not lately. The UPS terminal is about seventeen miles from my house, and if I go out in the morning, I'll see a dozen UPS trucks heading up the road. Maybe I'm just ordering the wrong things.

Then, I got nothing. And haha to your first sentence.

Wasn't it called "Montgomery Wards" or "Sears & Roebuck's" back then? 😂

Yes, and both were great stores. We had one of each in town. Sears was great for tools. They always had whatever I wanted.
