Greetings,
More of the 1971 Trip to the Peninsula and the last of the set. Again, locations jump around the country and some descriptions are more developed in Part 1 and short in this set.
Thanks for looking.

Évora is a city and a municipality in Portugal. It is the historic capital of the Alentejo and serves as the seat of the Évora District. Due to its well-preserved old town center, still partially enclosed by medieval walls, and many monuments dating from various historical periods, including a Roman Temple, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Cascais is a town and municipality in the Lisbon District of Portugal, located on the Portuguese Riviera. It’s history as a popular seaside resort originated in the 1870s, when King Luís I of Portugal and the Portuguese royal family made the seaside town their residence every September, thus also attracting members of the Portuguese nobility, who established a summer community there. The municipality is one of the wealthiest in both Portugal and the Iberian Peninsula. It has one of the most expensive real estate markets and one of the highest costs of living in the country.

Coimbra is the site of the oldest and one of the largest universities in Portugal – the University of Coimbra, a public university whose origins can be traced back to the 13th century, it was first established in Lisbon in 1290, and went through a number of relocations until moving permanently to Coimbra in 1537.
Among the many archaeological structures dating back to the Roman era, when Coimbra was the settlement of Aeminium, are its well-preserved aqueduct and cryptoporticus. Buildings from the period when Coimbra was the capital of Portugal (from 1131 to 1255) still remain.

Portel is a municipality in the District of Évora in Portugal. Administratively, the municipality is divided into 6 civil parishes.

Sintra is one of the most urbanized and densely populated municipalities of Portugal. A major tourist destination famed for its picturesqueness, the municipality has several historic palaces, castles, scenic beaches, parks and gardens.

The Pena Palace is a Romanticist castle in the municipality of Sintra, on the Portuguese Riviera. The castle stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains above the town of Sintra. It is a national monument and constitutes one of the major expressions of 19th-century Romanticism in the world. It became one of Portugal's most visited monuments. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site (1995) and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. It is used for state occasions by the President of the Portuguese Republic and other government officials.

Praia da Rocha is a modern town, with and hotels that line the cliffs and a beautiful beach. It is a lively holiday destination that is situated on one of the finest beaches of the Algarve. Known for the bizarre and dramatic limestone rock formations that stand along the water. In some places, the cliffs are sheer and drop straight down to the beach, but in others, erosion has left fanciful shapes likened to castles or pyramids.

Tomar was the last Templar town to be commissioned for construction and one of Portugal's historical jewels. The town was especially important in the 15th century when it was a center of Portuguese overseas expansion under Henry the Navigator, and the Master of the Order of Christ, successor organization to the Knights Templar in Portugal.
