I can only speak for the US as Nikon has other sites for other parts of the world, but if you go to the nikonusa website and click on the 'Refurbished' button, there is a 4-day sale. Do these look like some of the best prices I've seen from them in a long time or is it just my imagination?? For example, D850 for under two grand. What say you? (It's under the 'Deals' tab.)

If it's from Nikon, it's legit and sounds like a good deal! Grabit and go!

You beat me to it! I saw this earlier and was surprised at how low some of the prices were! Lowest I’ve ever seen for refurbished gear.

Anyone in the market for any of the cameras listed, do not hesitate!! I have purchased refurbished cameras and lenses directly from Nikon many times and have never been disappointed.

He (or she) who hesitates is lost

Just remember that Nikon Refurb's come with a, I believe, 30 day warranty. If you buy a Nikon Refurb, as soon as you get it shoot the living daylights out of it in every mode possible until you hands turn purple and red with blisters.
Do not get me wrong, Nikon Refurb's are a great bargain, they even have a Z9 for a grand off, but be aware that your warranty period is much shorter than with new equipment, so do not wait to test Nikon Refurb's.

I believe Nikon's warranty on refurbs is 90 days, not 30.

I sold a like new D850 with less than 10,000 clicks for $1,900. That’s where the market is now.

I find interesting that most reputable dealers offer on used cameras and lenses up to a 6 months warranty.

When I saw that the Z9 was being offered as a refurb, I instantly wondered what is Nikon going to release. Maybe the Z8 is getting close?

I purchased a refurbished lens from them a while ago. It came in a plain box, no instructions, no original box, just in a soft bag. Is this how all refurbs are supposed to be?

Now I feel bad! I bought a refurb from them and didn't get a nice soft bag--just the item well packaged in a box. The refurb, however, was like new--never a problem. Hmm . . . wonder if in my unpacking frenzy I could have misplaced the soft bag.
